Installation instructions for Terracarpet quartz systems

1. Substrate Preparation

• Moisture ≤4% for cementitious substrates.
• Application temperature: +10°C to +30°C.
• Mechanical preparation (milling, shot blasting).
• Cleaning of dust, oils, loose materials.

2. Primer Application

• Types: Water-based, Solvent-free, Wet-on-Wet, General Purpose.
• Consumption: 0.15–0.30 kg/m².

3. Mixing resin and aggregates

• Ratio: 1 part resin : 20 parts aggregates.
• Stir with a low-speed mechanical mixer.
• Working time: 20–30 minutes at 20°C.

4. System Application

• Layer thickness: 3–5–10 mm (depending on grain size).
• Tools: trowel, roller.
• Uniform distribution without the need for sanding.

5. Curing

• Light traffic: after 24 hours.
• Heavy loads: after 7 days.
• Full hardening: 48 hours.

Material Consumption Table

• Primer: From 0.150–0.300 kg/m².
• Resin: From 0.400–0.500 kg/m².
• Aggregate: From 0.8–1.3 kg/m² per mm of thickness (depending on grain size).

Safety Warnings

• Use gloves, mask, and goggles.
• Avoid application at temperatures <10°C or >30°C.
• Store materials in a cool, dry place.
